Tenor Miloš Bulajić was born in Bonn, Germany to a musical family. As a Belcanto-tenor (tenore di grazia) especially singing the works of Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart he allready sung lots of the leading roles from this repertoire in numerous operahouses and festivals across europe. Recently he was awarded with the prestigious Italian prize “Premio Arca d´oro Giovani Talenti” which is sponsored by the region of Piemonte and the City of Turin to outstanding young talents. Miloš
Bulajić has studied singing with the late Professor Leandra Overmann at the University of Music in Würzburg. His roles there included Ferrando COSI FAN TUTTE, Fenton FALSTAFF and the dancing master ARIADNE AUF NAXOS (directed by Cheryl Studer). He has also taken part in masterclasses at “Accademia della Voce di Torino” with Mariella Devia and Luciana d´Intino. Since 2014 he has begun to study in the class of Professor Daniela Sindram. He made his operatic debut in the role of Don Ramiro LA CENERENTOLA at the Weikersheim Opera Festival by “Jeunesses Musicales” in 2007, in a production directed by Dominik Wilgenbus, with Alessandro de Marchi and Patrick Lange. He has reprised this role at the Theaters of Braunschweig and Magdeburg in Germany, and Linz in Austria. In 2011 he replaced Javier Camarena in the role of Don Ramiro at Opéra National de Paris conducted by Bruno Campanella. In 2010 he performed the 4th Jew SALOME at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland conducted by Valery Gergiev and made his debut as Count Almaviva IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at the Sédières Festival in France. In 2011/12 he made his debut as Tonio in LA FILLE DU RÉGIMENT at the Operahouse of Rostock in Germany and was engaged to cover the same role at the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), production by Laurent Pelly conducted by Yves Abel. With the theater group “Nico and the Navigators” in Berlin he created the Tenor Solo in their much lauded stage production of Rossini’s LA PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE. This Production is on tour until 2015 at the Artfestival Weimar at Theater Erfurt in Germany, at Dijon Opéra and Paris Opéra-Comique in France, the Bregenz Festival 2012 in Austria and the Grand Theatre de Luxembourg among others. In summer 2012 Milos Bulajic was invited by Alberto Zedda to take part in the prestigious Accademia Rossiniana and to sing Count Libenskof IL VIAGGIO A REIMS as part of the Rossini Opera Festival ROF in Pesaro,Italy. In the 2012/13 season he sang the Count Almaviva in a new production of IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck in Austria and Tonio in a new production of LA FILLE DU RÉGIMENT at Staatstheater Karlsruhe, in Germany. In 2013/14 he made his debut as Ferrando in a new production of COSI FAN TUTTE at the Theater Pforzheim, Germany, sung Don Ramiro LA CENERENTOLA at Bulgarian National Opera in Sofia as well as the Tenor solo part in Rossini STABAT MATER with the Festival Música Mallorca 2013 and revivals of Nico and the Navigator’s Petite Messe solennelle at the Theater of Nîmes in France and jumped in as Almaviva IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Theater Magdeburg. Miloš Bulajić was part of the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival in 2014 so he sung Don Ramiro in LA CENERENTOLA and Belmonte in ENTFÜHRUNG AUS DEM SERAIL. Sponsored by the Liz-Mohn-Foundation he is currently a member of the international young artist program at the Staatsoper in Berlin for 2 years where he is singing roles such as Brighella in ARIADNE AUF NAXOS, the second Priest and first armoured man in MAGIC FLUTE, Conte di Lerma CON CARLO, Heinrich der Schreiber TANNHÄUSER, as well as the Tenor solo part in LA PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE at the whitsun Concert of the Choir of the Staatsoper. In the season 2015/16 he sung Don Ramiro in a new production of LA CENERENTOLA at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, staged by KS. Brigitte Fassbänder and Paolino in a new production of IL MATRIMONIO SEGRETO in a coproduction of Dutch National Opera Amsterdam, Dutch Reisopera Enschede and Opera Zuid Maastricht. Future Engagements include his role Debut as Ernesto DON PASQUALE in a new production at the Klassikfestival Kirchstetten in Austria aswell as Lindoro ITALIANA IN ALGERI in a new production at the Nationaltheater Weimar.
